X17CrNi16-2 Round Bars
X17CrNi16-2 / 1.4057 Grade Stainless Steel Round Bars is martensitic steel with high tensile strength. It also good machinability and is weldable. If you are looking for corrosion resistant steel which is resistive to strong oxidizing acids, e.g. nitric acid, X17CrNi16-2 stainless steel grade will be perfect.
X17CrNi16-2 is a rust and acid resistant, martensitic chromium steel with nickel addition. The formation of chromium carbides and the associated chromium depleted regions make this grade susceptible to intergranular corrosion.
